July 20 intermediate light board programming with Mark LaPierre
Join us on Saturday, July 20, from 10 AM to 3 PM for an intermediate light board programming session focusing on LED fixtures and movers.
Albany Civic Theater is proud to welcome acclaimed Light Designer and Educator, Mark LaPierre to our theater for this incredible interactive session. Mark became a Contract Trainer for ETC, teaching all levels of the EOS consoles. As a professional who uses these products on shows every day, he offers both book smarts and hard won experience. His trainings are incredibly positive environments filled with enthusiasm for tech, humor, tips and tricks. We are excited to welcome this wonderful resource to our stage.
This session is geared towards the Light Designer who would like a deeper dive into LEDs, but has good foundational knowledge of basic programming on the EOS family of products from ETC (Element, Ion, etc). This deeper dive will encompass a lot of tips and tricks to make programming faster, easier and more efficient. Designed to be 100% interactive, Mark will answer even your wildest questions from your own experience. Please bring your laptop with the EOS software loaded* for best experience.
