ACT YouThespians

Welcome to YouThespians, an ACT theater group for young people with interest in performing arts!  Join us!

                                                 

 
We conduct workshops and provide performance opportunities for youth.  Now in our fifth year, we've built a successful tradition of fantastic youth-oriented plays and musicals as part of each season's schedule at Albany Civic Theater.

Previous YouThespian productions at Albany Civic Theater include:

High School Musical (June 2012)
Excalibur:  The Story of Young King Arthur (April 2011)
Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. (April 2010)
 
Coming in September 2013:  The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (the musical!)
And in February 2014:  The Jungle Book

YouThespian Workshops!

Mark you calendar for our upcoming YouThespian Workshop!  
 
Saturday, May 11, 2013
1:00 - 4:00 pm
At ACT (111 First Ave. SW, Albany)
Ages:  4th grade through age 18
Eat lunch before you come.  Bring a snack to enjoy during break time.
 
Join us for some fun "hands-on" activities centered around our upcoming production of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.  Come dressed in your best "Tom Sawyer" era costume for this afternoon of games, learning activities, and improvisation.  Try your hand at set design, costuming, auditions and more!  Make some new friends, learn some new skills, and have a whole lot of fun!  There is no charge for this workshop (that's right, its FREE!)
 

Parents:  Print and complete this form at home, then have your child bring it with them.  OR, step into the lobby when you arrive and complete a form before you leave.
